Remember all those happy days
of childhood when the only gauge
for choosing friends was "Can you play?"
and not one's gender, color, age.
A playground full of kids makes me
remember all those happy days
when three of us would share a swing
and soaring claim the vast airways.
Just watching youngsters having fun
on jungle gyms, long slides and I
remember all those happy days
spent climbing, swinging, trying to fly.
Loud children's laughter, raucous glee
as they explore exciting ways
to have great fun is now cause to
remember all those happy days.
