If only I could hibernate -
rejuvenate
beneath the snow
as cold winds blow
Like planted bulbs that lie so deep,
enjoying sleep
'til warmth of spring
cause birds to sing
Emancipated from deep freeze
by gentle breeze
I'd chase the sun
when winter's done!
