You're too much of a romantic
in seeing what you want,
a voice echoes in my mind.
This is the seed that darkness
inserts in that treacherous terrain of your brain.
You see an alluring sky with a lavender charm
A moon to stimulate your desires
With a vision of a girl kissing your heart.
You yearn to taste those luscious pink lips
With the honey sweetness of ambrosia
And descend with crown like a god.
An enchanting and erotic vision I must say,
But now see the truth through my eyes.
The reflection is there but it's separated
Like heaven and hell by a slash of somber space.
Lavender is white-washed mated to blue.
It is the woman's lure, the baited hook,
Enslaving the man in the final embrace.
He become a thrall for her desires,
Losing his freedom just by taking a bite
Of that apple that fell from the tree.
Lavender is Eve's secret scent of subjugation.
To relish the elixir of life is to die.
The voice becomes silent in this lavender night
and I fear for my life.
