the flower poet relaxes in the sea
behold a pretty mermaid appears
both beings recite and sing in verse
a time of flowing words that reach
a distant shore,
a wayward pirate laughs,
he seeks the siren's song
but when he finds her
petals engulf him
a frown replaces a grin
the all embracing flower
describes her friend
who swam away
so now the looter
of watery worlds
belongs to the
plant of poems
