For forty days and forty nights
the rain came down with all its might.
It washed the Earth, made it clean,
made it bright, made it green.
Through Noah and his righteous heart,
God gave mankind a second start.
He placed a rainbow in the sky
to symbolize this second try.
A rainbow forms when rainy days end,
a symbol God continues to send.
A rainbow is more than a beautiful sight,
it reminds mankind to do what is right.
