I spent my childhood on a fruit farm, where we always had many cats.

Married in 1966. I gave birth to three sons, but only one survived. Cats were a part of our everyday life.

I divorced in 1978 and moved to Shelby, Michigan for a year with my son, two cats, and one dog.

I started work on a dairy farm in 1979, where there were more cats, lots of them.

In 2011 I married the owner of the dairy farm. We are retired now and down to twelve cats; all the cats are drop-offs or found me somehow.

In conclusion, I have come to accept the fact that I'm a cat magnet. No matter where I landed in life, cats soon appeared.

Sigh, I suppose it could be worse; what if I attracted snakes instead? Ewww, perish the thought.

Author Notes
It seems like cats are attracted to me no matter where I go. I often go to other folks homes where they tell me their cat doesn't like strangers. Their cat or cats are soon sitting on my lap or rubbing against my legs. I don't know what it is, maybe they sense I love them. Then again, maybe I give off some aura or something. Who knows? Word count 142.
