brave
new world
driverless
cars and smart homes
run by domotics
world at your fingertips
that no longer write cursive
since paper checks are subversive
to those who file and store in a cloud
and seldom need to speak or read out loud

I miss those days when coffee was ground by hand
and castles were built - not in the cloud - but with sand

Writing Prompt
The Duodec-liner poem (duodec = prefix meaning ?twelve-?) is a twelve-liner.

As in the Etheree poem, the first line is a one-syllable word, the second line has two syllables, the third has three, and so forth, concluding with a twelve-syllable line.

Unlike the Etheree, the Duodecliner must express an opinion or pose a question, and include at least six lines that end in a rhyme. The last two lines comment on the opinion, or answer the question.

Other Requirements:
Only one illustration (optional), above the poem,
Select colors and fonts only from FS editors (basic, advanced)
Use one color each for background and font.
No animation, music or other special effects.
