If You Are, I Am, And We All Are by Ogden
Oh, you are... are you? writing prompt entry

"You are what you eat,”  we all know it is said.
You are, in that case, all that stuff you are fed.
I am what I eat, if what they say is true;
I am, then, part rock cornish hen,
And leftover Mulligan stew.

I am what’s written above, if
I am my fare of the last two days.
I am, therefore, that - and, to be frank,
I am lucky I’m not what I drank!

(And you know where that went.)

Write a humorous free verse or free style poem about YOU, as though you are talking to yourself! Recommended (but not required) that you start every stanza (except your last stanza) with "You are..." . You may start your last stanza with whatever you choose.
