It was my mother's first night visiting me in Africa. At midnight, a fierce thunderstorm blew in. I went to shut the windows in her room. The linen curtains were flapping wildly and wrapped around me. My mother screamed in fright at the billowing ghost coming in through the window. Writing Prompt Write a humorous 50 word story. 50 words exactly. No need to have a beginning, a conflict or resolution. Just tell something funny in 50 words. No poetry.
