"Tribute to a Loving Mother"
Jesus looked at my mother's tired frame
Ninety-one years on Earth... He called her name
Jesus embraced my mom to the end
Then...decreed her transition to begin
Her soul ventured to a glorious place
Beautiful and peaceful ...full of grace
Love and tranquility filled the air
Jesus is the midst, waiting for her there
He took her to a garden full of love
Greeted by loved ones and Angels above
Joy and happiness showed on her face
Her mind restored in a sacred place
She was amazed, as she looked around
Angels ruling a message quite profound
Everlasting life is yours - they proclaim!
Your body returns to dust from whence it came
Mom is free from the cares of this world
She is now in Heaven, gates lined with pearls

My mother went to eternal peace on December 21, 2016. The Celebration of her Life and Home Going Service was on December 28th.
I would like to thank Irish Rain for the beautiful poem "Too Soon," written honoring my mother. I will forever cherish this lovely poem, your love, kindness and prayers.
