the stench of loss
permeates what's been abandoned;
deep in the forest
of
forgotten phrases
words wind aimlessly about
in
an endless game
of
hide and seek
calling
catch me if you can;
echoes
of
forgotten fervor
bounce off the walls
of
my frustration;
imprisoned
in
a vacuum of dead silence
vibrations
haunt the halls
of
lost lyrics.
