Bio writing prompt entry

I'm just plain as can be
No fancy duds for me
Give me old jeans and a T-shirt
You won't find me wearing a skirt

Some say I have a strange sense of humor
I tell them that's just a rumor
I'm a lot like my dad with his gift of gab
My world seldom seems drab

You might say I'm introspective
I don't find that defective
Don't want any city life
Way too much noise and strife

Outdoors will do me just fine
Around a campfire, I like to dine
I find peace amongst the trees
All the beauty often brings me to my knees

I like listening to the stars
I spent my years in the noisy bars
I am blessed beyond measure
In God's word I have found treasure

Some would say I once was a cutie
Now I'm just an old petunie
Gettin' olds not so bad
Now I can wear flowers with plaid

I prefer working in the yard
Never been afraid to work hard
Years of being a nurse.
Retirement finds me pondering the universe.

Old bones sometimes creak and groan
I won't go on and on...
Once I had an IQ of one-sixty
Today, I am blessed if I can remember
Where I put my glasses. That's nifty.
