A Silly Poem
Family
: Modeling by Treischel

I was really
startled
at my profile's likeness
to that bust
I here model
of the Greek philosopher
the great
Aristotle.

We share
the ink bottle,
as we both are writers
whose poignant thoughts
throttle
many written pages,
oft' considered novel.

Yet
of these two
contours,
if truth is not unkind,
I shall not mollycoddle,
As I
have
the most pronounced
and scruffy
wattle.
