Long ago my son, Roy, found a lost kitten. We named her Iggy and the two were inseparable. Iggy would wait for the school bus every day and sleep with Roy at night. Sadly, Roy died in an accident when he was sixteen. Iggy sat by Roy's bedroom door every night waiting for one who never came. Writing Prompt Tell a complete story using 60 words or under. Recognized Author Notes This is a true story. My son, Roy, was killed in a hunting accident when he was sixteen. It was his first year of deer hunting. Iggy waited for the bus every day and sat by Roy's bedroom door at night. There was no way to tell Iggy why her best friend vanished. It was a sad time for all of us.
