Thank you for your letter of refusal, read today.
It's not the only one I've had, I've just one thing to say.
I think that your decisions wrong, I'm right for the position,
I'm smart, I'm punctual and polite and I have ambition.
I thought the interview went well I really took to you
And judging by the way it went I thought you liked me too.
It's only stocking up the shelves. Rocket science it is not
I feel supremely qualified to stock up in your shop.
I think I answered with aplomb your multitude of questions
And just to show how keen I am I even made suggestions.
I'm sure you've come to realize that your decision was not right
And to give the job to someone else is an error, in hindsight.
I met the other applicants and I really must confess
That no-one stood out from the crowd, I was not impressed.
I am the perfect candidate, you could not do better
Therefore I'll give you one more chance, I'm tearing up your letter.
I've chosen to accept this post at my own discretion
I'll be there nice and early Monday morning, half past seven.
