I've heard the words "His love ran red",
upon Golgotha's hill He bled.
I wonder have you heard it said,
Golgotha holds a giant's head?
They say Goliath's head is found
within that cold, now sacred ground.
Young David placed it on that hill,
to wait the day our sin would kill
our Savior. Now, His blood would seep
into that ground where death would keep
the "Seed of Satan", some would say.
When Christ was killed he held at bay
old Satan; yes he lost the war,
he's lost the war forevermore,
for Christ claimed vic'try o'er the grave
and o'er the darkness he would save
each soul atoning in their prayer.
The "Seed of Eve", yes David's heir,
will keep his foot upon the head,
forevermore, His love runs red.
