Her Path
by D. Dawn Munro
With wild abandon she cries out;
her need a pulsing fire.
His granite body traps her there
in passionate desire.
His lips are swollen, ripe with lust,
he gives no hint of danger -
a handsome creature, manhood strong,
but yet, a total stranger.
No second thoughts! Now fear, regret
will follow her forever,
for wanton care about our sins
buys mercy for us never.
The pain was sharp, though over soon -
her path so freely altered!
The curse of vampire evermore
her fate, because she faltered.
