Some guys! (a humorous rant poem)
Remove The Blindfold

Remove The Blindfold
Perhaps I'm just imagining you're calling out my name,
but ever since we slept together, nothing's been the same.
I find I'm angry all the time, or bitchy and darn rude,
and I'm quite sure it's all because of your damn attitude.
What makes you think you're better, just because you charmed me, bub?
I'm not the kind of gal (you jerk) that others often snub!
My phone is ringing off the hook, and no one speaks at all -
perhaps you think I cannot guess it's you who's made the call?
Just because you block the number doesn't mean you're safe.
The fact that we won't meet again should definitely chafe -
you robbed me of my dignity, but it will just be once.
I might have fallen for your lies, but I'm no brainless dunce.
To err is human, don't you know (but twice is just plain nuts,
and I need boastful arrogance by one who only struts
like some perverted peacock, like a pigeon needs a pie) -
so get your head out of your ass! Become a decent guy.
