Zero Equals Hope                                                       by michael cahill   all is new as love becomes my new persona cradle my young soul   desire fulfilled envelops every pore forever smiles   grand images of dancing souls delight the moon honey sweetens the vast expanse of the milky way illusions of constellations come to life jousting in the heavens as Orion celebrates knights parade in tribute- galloping grand tornados! luscious are the stars that finally bloom in color     melancholy creeps up under ground unnoticed nothing was spoken- nary a word that I recall only a chill borne on a breeze swiftly vanished pray tell, my love, is something wrong? quell my silly misgivings for I worry remembering a time before love when all was not bliss     should I not go with you where you are off to? that has always been the way of us understanding escapes me as I see you leave venting fire until none is left- left with fading smoke wondering what happened to love's perfection     x is my new name you slayed my identity     zero equals hope   Recognized Author Notes There is no point to love unless you go all the way.
