Luscious green leaves
Spread to the sunlight
From which it receives
Life-giving warmth
That each one retrieves
To nourish the stem
To which it cleaves

A lovely pink flower.
This poem is just simple alternating lines or rhyme, where every other line mono-rhymes. So that the resulting rhyme scheme is:
