I was riding on my Dream
Winging across the sky
Stopped here on this mountain
Just can't remember why
Am I chasing love
Or searching for my soul
Don't remember which
Is my final goal
Was here on this mountain
About seven years ago
Thought I had found Jesus
But left feeling mighty low
Never felt I found Him
Nor did I hear His voice
Others say they saw Him
To Him they did rejoice
Could it be I'm blind
For others they do see
Am I missing something?
Wish He would come to me
My life is a labyrinth
I'm going nowhere fast
When I find what I'm looking for
It just never seems to last
Maybe it's my ego
Always getting in the way
Like to find that something
So I don't run astray
Let me sit again and listen
For I hope that I can hear
Maybe the voice of Jesus
Will magically appear
They say if you believe
In what He has to say
There will be no labyrinth
You will surely find your way
So speak to me Sweet Jesus
I'm ready to listen now
How I want to love you, but
Perhaps I don't know how

A bit different write for me but thought I would give it a try. Riding on my Dream refers to my Unicorn named Dream that most know of..The reference to the mountain was something I wrote a while back when sitting on top of it just pondering the who whats wheres and whens of life
