YELLOW
My weak-kneed, hollow, lily-livered stance
Showed quaking fear as truth I had to face
I proved too scared to take my given chance
My lesser spine preferred a safer place
Defend thy honour, not a phrase I'd guard
Not one intrepid thought was mine to crave
Abjectly I found difficult too hard
No plucky heart with daring sense of brave
Alas, my feeble wish for valiance lost
I'd pussy out with sweaty palms a'drip
Sheer magnitude of cowardess to cost
All dignity, my gutlessness would strip
From arm pits down to yellow belly soaked
Big wussy girl's a shrinker, no disputes
As trickle gushed and flooded skirt I choked
Yes, sissy wimp just filled up both the boots
So pantywaisted, squeamish and afraid
This chicken shit will baste in every shade

Author Notes
Poetic licence with "cowardess"...
Inspired by a friend who I initially inspired.
This was written to inspire him again. And so on.
Ding! Ding! Round Two...
Ah yes, the art of perpetual pro-motion. LOL
This format is an Earlette. Thanks to Earl of Oxford for a fab variation
on a standard Sonnet... with one extra stanza and no volta necessary.
Thanks for reading ...
