Through Nature's Eyes by Sandra Stoner-Mitchell

I hear the sea breeze calling
'Come stand beside the shore
And watch the scattered moonbeams
Shimmer as they fall
Upon the sway of dancing waves
Where mermaids' songs inspire
Sweet melodies and symphonies
To grace the heavenly choir.'

The ancient yew tree beckons
His leafy branches, curled,
'Come feast your eyes upon the land
While nature clothes the world
With bluebells in the woodlands
And poppies in the fields
As heather, gorse and buttercups
Are strewn across the hills'

The eagle flying overhead
Soared towards the sun
To swoop with grace, and then embrace
The sea and earth, as one.
He screeched with satisfaction
Agreed with breeze and yew,
'If only man could understand,
And see the way we do.'
