Jolly Mouse by Bridge
Mouse Elephant writing prompt entry

"What's for dinner, Mum?" asked Jolly.
"Grass stew and cheese souffle", replied her mother.
"Yum!" said Jolly.
Jolly Mouse had always loved eating grass from the time she was a baby. Jolly spent the first fortnight of her life with an elephant family because of a hospital mix-up. It was there that she picked up her love of grass. From a distance came the sound of trumpeting, and Jolly immediately puckered up her lips to trumpet back but all that came out was a squeak.
"Hee-haw,hee-haw" Jolly turned with tears in her eyes to find Danish Donkey laughing at her
"You are just a mouse, Jolly", he said.
Jolly just ran into her room and shut the door.

Write a fun flash fiction in 100 to 150 words about a mouse that thinks it's an elephant.
