Endo the Appaloosa is blind
Blind from an infection he lost
Lost both his eyes, he a special kind
Kind of horse that would listen
Listen to his trainer, Morgan lover of horses
Horses were her life, Endo was very smart
Smart and beautiful horse worth saving
Saving him by teaching him sounds
Sounds of his trainer, on a lead rein
Rein held him as she lunged by voice
Voice to Endo trained him, kept him sane
Sane enough to be finally ridden
Ridden by his Morgan, he was bold
Bold and cheeky, he danced
Danced around, and Faith told
Told of his love for he pranced
Pranced to the sound of his trainer
Trainer taught him to walk, trot, and canter
Canter by himself children stared faith repaired
Repaired by the loving god and her banter
Banter at empty eye sockets blind Endo fared
Fared so well, won blue ribbons, blind horse
Horse was so amazing everyone who saw
Saw him as able-bodied in heart now source
Source of faith in a human, patience her law

Author Notes
Contest Entry for Faith poem. I caught a video of this amazing, blind horse called Endo who normally would be put down. I wanted to share with you, that nothing is impossible with God. He lost both eyes through an infection. To see his trainer throw a saddle on him and ride was amazing. The video of Endo is on Google. Search 'Endo the blind horse.'
