Excellent 3rd Place Finish The Mouth of Babes by Douglas Goff Humorous 50 Word Story writing prompt entry

“Dad, why’d Jesus use prostitutes?” my eight-year-old asked  “He didn’t” “Yes, He really liked them, a lot!”  “No.” “Yes, Jesus had twelve and some even helped write the Bible. Our Sunday school teacher told us all about it.”  I found out she meant to use the word apostles. Writing Prompt Write a humorous 50 word story. 50 words exactly. No need to have a beginning, a conflict or resolution. Just tell something funny in 50 words. No poetry. Recognized Author Notes This happened last summer. We still laugh about it at church!
