Inspector Clare surveyed the murder scene. The man on the floor had holes in his chest. "Do you think that's what killed him, Inspector?" asked the patrolman, pointing at the bloody perforations. "Well, Rookie, I don't know exactly, but witnesses say he was alive earlier and had no holes there."
