oh me oh my

the cars fly by

oh bother oh brother

here comes another

oh wait . . . what now

we’re stopping some how

accident or construction

what manner of destruction

cut in cut out, we move at a crawl

I pound on my knees, my hands in a ball

should I scream and shout

or just sit here and pout

is that a pothole that just rattled my teeth

don’t they know or see how badly I seethe

finally, we are moving, I sigh and I groan, followed with a slight moan

the driver states firmly, you’re the worst passenger I’ve ever known
