When I was young, still in my prime,
I rode my Harley all the time.
Today here and tomorrow there,
out in the sun and fragrant air.
Though I was healthy, happy, free,
the U S Air Force called for me.
The Air Force said we sure need you.
I had to go, 'twas right to do.
When I got home thoughts filled my mind.
Still single then, I sought to find;
A fair maiden to claim as bride,
to live with me, be at my side.
Fate intervened, answered my plea,
with a maiden rescued for me.
We courted and at last we wed.
That day my Harley took its bed.
