As sun gives light so does the Son,
before the wind the clouds will run.
For as they do in splendored flight,
so does the Son as sun gives light.
Where will we turn when mountains fall,
or read the signs when sparrows call.
That rush of fear when wildfires burn,
when mountains fall where will we turn?
Christ gave His name in serving truth,
yet I served sin in raging youth.
But folly flees when fear is tamed.
In serving truth Christ gave His name.
I'll never know why Christ chose me,
and yet I'm glad He set me free.
My inner light gives outer glow,
why Christ chose me I'll never know.
