He really thinks he is the best
He's way ahead of all the rest
He lives and loves with all his heart
And hates it when we are apart.
He's loyal, caring, faithful, true
A tribute I would like to do.
For him a zoom is not on screens
It's backyard racing, full of beans,
Throws his toys high in the air
Then catches them with skill and flair.
Spins around, with galloping turns,
Amazing energy he burns!
He loves his food and special treats
And every bit he always eats,
Favourites? Soy crisps, if you please -
They're just as good as any cheese
And for dinner he likes to beg
Something special - why, yes an egg!
His pillow lies quite near my bed,
But good night wishes must be said,
Then he'll dream his doggy dreams,
So many friends - you know it seems
Everyone loves him, my special friend -
My love for him will never end!
