May I have a dog? PLEASE? Oh PLEASE!
I'll always love him, never tease
I'll take him for a walk each day
And after school we'll always play.
I'll check his water, give him food,
He'll always be in a good mood ....
I will even collect his poop
Using a special little scoop.
Our house he'll quickly learn to guard
Nothing for him would be too hard ....
He'd bark if some-one strange was there
But never bite, just try to scare.
With my own dog I'd have such fun
I would never bother anyone
I'd read him stories, write poems too
He'd love these things that I would do.
At night he'd sleep just near my feet
Our family would be quite complete ....
