A mother cooks, she cleans and sews;
A nourishing garden she grows.
She gets up early every day.
She teaches her kids how to pray.
She teaches her kids wrong from right.
She tucks her children in at night.
She prays to know what her kids need
And listens to her children read.
She tries to be her kids' best friend.
Their broken hearts she tries to mend.
She loves watching her children play
And listens to cute things they say.
She gives her kids compliments, praise;
Serves each one in different ways.
A mother is easy to love.
She's a gift from Father above.
