Two total strangers sharing sky
and one another never seen.
They alternate to reign on high,
and each creates a different scene.
The heavens harbor them in turn,
two total strangers sharing sky.
How strange that neither can discern
the other moving on the fly.
But they’ve no chance to peek or spy,
there’s naught to show them how they are
two total strangers sharing sky,
a satellite, a flaming star.
Sun never sees the Milky Way,
Moon winks as he goes passing by.
And so, it goes each night and day,
two total strangers sharing sky.
