Children's Poem writing prompt entry

As Humpty Dumpty danced on the wall
He said, “Ain’t no way I’m goin’ to fall!
So, all you king’s horses and all you king’s men
Go on back home ‘til I see ya agin.

“Ain’t fallin’ today; ain’t fallin’ tommorra
Don’ want anybody a’cryin’ with sorra;
‘Cause when I get down, I’ll be dancing’ a jig
And folks will be sayin’, “Here comes Mr. Big!”

But Humpty was gettin’ so confident that
His back foot slipped out and "plop,” down he sat,
And as he kept slippin' down off of that wall,
He said, “Looks like I’m goin' to fall after all.”

And as the egg splattered down on the ground
The crowd was aghast, didn't utter a sound;
And they heard poor Humpty as he cried,
"Well, I guess this is better than bein' fried."
