Dad fashioned a ramp; quite the tale! ____________________   Author Notes Mom had been watching the quail from the kitchen window all spring, and when the chicks hatched, they could not hop up the retaining wall. She had Dad figure out a ramp of sorts with wood. Soon, all the babies could follow their parents to find a wider selection of food.
