Not to imply that I am a stalker
But, on bananas, I’m a big talker.
Simply peeled, I like them a lot,
And cereal without them? Not!
Oh, still so much more to be said
Starting with banana nut bread!
Warm, with some real butter, too.
A favorite treat, I’m tellin’ you.
Now, a cool delight? Banana split:
With Ice cream, chocolate, that’s it!
Add whipped cream, cherry on top,
Heaven! I could eat that ‘til I pop!
Banana daquiries? Cool as a breeze
Two makes you go swing in the trees
Banana cream pie: how well I know,
Delicious to eat or just fun to throw.
Banana pudding’s a very soft treat
Comfy at night, going to sleep…
Now, I’m old, when I go to the store,
I don’t buy green bananas no more.
