Resurrection: when life, reborn from the grave of winter,
Enters the world to bring joy and hope to all.
New buds, rapid growth and vivid green delight the eye
Energy, from the enjoyment of fresh air and sunshine,
Welcomed after the season of stiffness, cold, and death,
Always brings alive all the dormant senses and emotions –
Love the most powerful and fulfilling of all.
Infectious happiness for all as hearts also respond –
Newness in nature always brings that exultation!
Such is the cycle of seasons as spring returns:
Precious times, memories are made
Restoring gladness in nature's abundant life.
Indelible colours, bright as noonday sun,
Never fading but preserved in the mind's eye,
Grace our lives, our hearts and souls.

Author Notes
I have chosen the season of Spring but have layered it with some imagery of the resurrection, as it coincides with Easter. New life from death brings joy, both seasonal and spiritual.
