Picnics, of course!
Need I say more?
By some nice lake or ocean shore,
with trees to shade us from the sun,
while napping after all our fun.
Perhaps we'll bring along a grill,
of hotdogs, we can eat our fill.
Potato salad piled high
is so delightful to my eye.
We'll take along our swimming gear
and take a dip, since we're all here.
Then eat some more, sit in the sun,
then languish there till day is done.
Good food, blue sky, a cooling lake,
will be a perfect summer break.
Please come with us and picnic too,
we'll share our tasty food with you.
