Sad to say, I used to be so proud, Boasted of my everything, real loud. In each endeavor, I was the very best, I couldn't keep buttons on my classy vest. Though I was very haughty I thought such not naughty. I gloried in the least of my accomplishments, Burying all dissent in self compliments. After all, why listen to clods, Better to be one of the gods! Today I know better, learned a thing or two, Such "gods" as I need to learn humility too.
