Majestic you stand, my friend, Willow
Alone in the meadow, you beautifully billow
Robins sing, and from their nests they fly
Your foliage comfortable as a cool pillow
Lance-like leaves providing shade below
You gleam in the morning and at sunset glow
Provide a place of pleasure you never deny
My friend, Willow
When I’m upset by friend or foe
You provide a place for reflecting console
Where I ponder, plan and resolve to comply
Results: a good mood or sometimes a tearful eye
I appreciate knowing you provide me a place to go
My friend, Willow
