When Covid struck
My wife was stuck
Inside the house with me
Her bingo fun was put on hold
Just like her shopping spree
When both our nerves
Were wearing thin
She found a new release
And took up gardening in our yard
To keep the family peace
With gloves and shovel
Out she went
Then smiled and looked my way,
And said the plot would be dug out
Before the end of day.
I’m pleased she seems so happy now
Complain no more I can’t -
The problem is,
She just won’t tell me...
What she wants to plant!
