I feed my little ones, my pride, my happiness
disabled I am, but they sustain my sense of worth
chipmunks scurry to devour seed with fluffy tails erect
deposited by one who watches over nature's tiny chippies
for furry dreams each day brings about good feelings

Author Notes
My husband feeds the chipmunks in our yard. He is quite fond of them and he looks for them every day. The gogyoshi is a five line free verse poem.
