Things I love, there are so many,
way too many for me to list.
So I'll write of all my favorites,
there's many, I just can't resist.
Family first, that is a given.
Money is great, it helps me live.
Sharing my poetry with others,
a part of me I like to give.
Cats are cool, cute, cagey, funny,
a dozen I'd raise if I could.
My husband he won't hear of it though,
and stops me cold just like he should.
Sour pickles, turkey dinner,
Halloween, Christmas, Easter too,
any holiday you'd think of,
has many fun things I can do.
The smell of rain gently falling,
the birds above, I love them all.
Stately woodland trees that tower,
in summer, winter, spring, and fall.
So many wonders to admire,
and many things that cause delight.
Can't list them all, there's just too many,
I'd have to work both day and night!
