His loud reaction broke my dream but flashed an incident caused by the devious secretary of our colony. I had gone to my hometown in India for some days before the Pandemic. Our locality isn't valid so far. Consequently, it has to solve the residents' water problem at its level by a committee elected biennially. This arrangement is to continue until the government provides its pipeline. Since the committee holds a meeting on the last Sunday of every month, I also attended it. Having noticed the secretary's misdeeds, I highlighted them. He had amassed a chunk of money by fake transactions connected with the boring pump and pipelines.
