One year ago today we were visited by a menace...how it came?
I can not say but I'm sure it grows within us.
Pointing fingers at this horror only makes it want us more
I have only seen this type of torture in the movies
while resting on the floor.
People torn right out their life with no wish to see another...
being forced to pay a price, daughter/ son/ mother/ brother.
Who's in charge? Where is the gate keepers like we seen in fair tales?
Superman ,Thor ,Wonder woman... just to name a few from old folk tales.
How could this happen to a people that line up for new events
like taking the guess work out of history, or the flavor out of mint.
I only ask cause I'm afraid...even though i've been here a while.
I'm just tired of all sadness that I see when others smile.
Who will educate our children for a life they not yet know?
If we allow this germ to take us before its time for us to go.
Be it one. Be it all. Be it short, be it tall.
If we do not fight this fight together...
be it a wasted life for us all!
