It is growing deep inside Resist the urge, at least I tried This thing within me is so strong It overtakes me, can’t prolong   Guttural noises in my throat Wishing there were an antidote Hair comes from places not defined The wolf has possessed my mind   Long-sounding howl to moon so bright I am a hunter of the night This werewolf leaves a trail of red Your throat be eaten, you be dead   Ripped open with sharp teeth and claws Your gristle dripping from my jaws Lifelong curse is mine to bear If I am loose, you best take care         Writing Prompt The challenge is to write a poem that contains some form of horror or thriller.
