To drift among the silky clouds
My fears would disappear
As my heart glided up above
Into the atmosphere
Within the blue horizon's edge
There'd be a realm of calm
Where spirits find serenity
That soothes their soul with balm
To gaze upon the planet earth
On waters that were blue
Without the signs of white caps there
Would be a lovely view
The clear reflections down below
Of skies that were light blue
Would make my soul feel feather light
So quietude renews
The mountains with their majesty
So cast their shadow's hue
The lofty shades of indigo
Will cast a spell on you
In soft and lovely Topaz tints
Or sapphires dazzling light
Bright captivating beauty reigns
That make your cares take flight
A feathered Bluebird flying by
A Blue Jay on the wing
Are they not a thing of joy
Of what this color brings
No matter where this color shows
It has a magic touch
It tends to mesmerize the eye
And throws aways woe's crutch
God blessed us with cerulean
And when the skies are clear
I'd like to drift within this hue
And sigh away my fears
