Understanding
I often wonder what I know about life and what is beyond me.
Just when I think I understand the world, the world surprises me.
I do know this
I have never set out to hurt someone.
but I have hurt people
even people I love
I seek to understand
Yet have misunderstood words meant to need understanding
Understanding, according to definition, is the intelligence to look beyond what we think and see others beliefs.
Perception, Our angle, Our view.
encloses our own minds, colored by our lives,
Realization
is understanding others may never live up to our expectations.
and
we
never
live
up
to
theirs
Yet,
We learn to love them.
