So lovely is the butterfly
That flies on wings of lace,
For there is beauty in her form,
One's eyes are bound to chase
She is a gentle featherweight
Of beauties best, bar-none!
So, gracefully she rules the sky
Beneath the morning sun.
A graceful entity is she
With wings that brush the sky.
What ripples in the atmosphere
Is just a whispered sigh.
Intimidations not her style.
Yet she will draw you in,
Just by the lovely elegance
That blesses her within.
The fairest breezes that exist
Can barely feel her weight
So imperceptible is she
Her body fails to rate
Rare beauty is personified
Whenever she takes flight.
The flutter of a rainbow's glow
Describes the wondrous sight.
Angelic breezes touch the soul
When wispy wings take flight
And soothing is the world we find
With this small garden sprite
